Scope of application
Il CT 23 si occupa di preparare le norme riguardanti componenti elettrici e sistemi correlati a bassa tensione AC e DC per scopi domestici e similari quali quelli per uso in edifici residenziali, locali commerciali e industriali, luoghi adibiti ad ufficio, ospedali, strutture pubbliche ecc. I componenti elettrici ed i sistemi correlati sono previsti per installazioni fisse o per l’utilizzo su altre apparecchiature elettriche o elettroniche e possono includere componenti elettronici e relativi software e interfacce digitali. Sono normalmente installati da personale esperto o istruito ed utilizzati da persone non istruite.
A livello europeo ed internazionale partecipa anche alla preparazione di norme su prodotti specifici, quali ad es. i connettori per installazioni monofase e multifase destinati al collegamento permanente in installazioni fisse e i dispositivi di segnalazione sonora, nonché per gli aspetti di sicurezza, compatibilità elettromagnetica e installazione dei sistemi elettronici per la casa e l’edificio (HBES) e sistemi di automazione e controllo di edifici (BACS). Per quest’ultime norme, il CT 23 collabora con il CT 205 “Sistemi bus per edifici”.
Structure
Il CT 23 del CEI ha principalmente un’attività di coordinamento dei lavori dei propri SottoComitati:
- SC 23A “Sistemi di canalizzazione e accessori per cavi”
- SC 23B/G “Spine, prese, interruttori non automatici, involucri e connettori per uso domestico e similare”
- SC 23E “Interruttori automatici per applicazioni domestiche e similari”
- SC 23F “Dispositivi di connessione”
- SC 23H “Spine e prese per uso industriale, per veicoli elettrici (EV) e applicazioni similari”
- SC 23J “Interruttori per apparecchiature”
- SC 23K “Prodotti per l’efficienza energetica elettrica”.

ICS
International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.
The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.
Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.
Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.
43 Road Vehicle Engineering
The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.
43.040 Road vehicle systems
Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.
43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
You can identify the ICS code of your interest by typing the code or a keywordword in the dropdown ICS field, and by selecting one of the filtered results.
Search also in the summary/description of the standard
By flagging this control, the search for keywords will not be limited to the Standard Number and Title fields, but will also be performed in the Abstract of the standard.
This way, you will get more results.
You should use this option when you can not find the desired result with the standard approach and it is necessary to extend the scope of the search: by increasing the number of results, you will increase the number of non-relevant elements, as well.
